Steve worked for three years for an architectural practice before joining Newark and Sherwood District Council Building Control in 1986. He spent almost twenty years at Newark and Sherwood, progressing to the role of Principal Building Control Surveyor, before bringing his considerable experience in both the domestic and commercial sector to Turton Building Control Ltd, joining in September 2006. Steve is a fellow of the Association of Building Engineers and also has a City and Guilds qualification in AutoCAD.
